MALAYSIA - SOME clinics in the Klang Valley are selling hallucinogens like Dormicum and at very low prices too, Kosmo! reported.

These clinics, some of which operate 24-hours-a-day, have become the main 'suppliers' of the pill to addicts.

Anyone could buy up to 20 pills, each costing RM7, without any prescription, the daily reported.

Some of these clinics have been around for more than 10 years and operate mainly to sell these hallucinogens.

"Business" at these clinics start at around midnight and there is no doctor present.

Kosmo! reported that about 100 addicts were believed to get their daily supply of the hallucinogen pills from these clinics.

In its investigative report, it found that addicts roamed about in front of the clinic and they simply shouted out aloud to get their supply.

Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association project coordinator Noor Nirwandy Mat Nordin urged the Health Ministry to act against the clinics.

The association had also carried out its investigations and found that hallucinogens were being sold openly by these clinics
