Teenager falls prey to snatch thief

A SNATCH thief grabbed a mobile phone from a teenage girl at the void deck of Block 324, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 on Tuesday morning.

The teen was walking along the void deck at about 10.15am when a man walked up to her and grabbed the phone, worth about $450, and fled, said police.

The suspect is 1.7m tall, in his 20s, had tanned skin and was plump. He sported a blonde mohawk hairstyle and wore a black t-shirt and white pants.

Witnesses can call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.
