Fri, Feb 22, 2008
The Straits Times

ABOUT $80,000 worth of jewellery, including gemstones and rings, went missing from a shop at Block 354 Jurong East Avenue at about 8.45pm on Thursday.

An employee had locked up the shop on Monday evening and when she returned three days later, found the shop's roller shutters had been tampered with.

The shop did not have any closed-circuit cameras nor an alarm system.

Anyone with information can call the police at 1800-255-0000.
