A 53-YEAR-OLD man with an axe to grind with his company damaged 12 of its lorries all in one day.
Lian Yew Eng was a driver with KTC Cvil Engineering and Construction when he damaged the front windscreens and the head lamps of the vehicles parked at Tampines Road on Aug 26 last year.
He pleaded guilty to five charges of mischief while another seven were taken into consideration.
The court heard that he rode his motorcycle to the carpark and used a hammer to hit the parked vehicles.
A motorist saw what he did and called the police. Lian told police he was unhappy at his workplace. The total damage came to $6,099.
