AN unemployed man who molested four victims was jailed a total of 25 months and ordered to be given seven strokes of the cane on Tuesday.

Kamari Noordin, 41, pleaded guilty to four charges between August last year and January this year.

A district court heard that on Jan 8, he followed a 16-year-old student into a lift at Woodlands.

When the victim stepped out on the six floor, he followed her. She quickened her pace and knocked on the door of her flat.

Before her mother could get to the door, Kamari touched her buttocks and lifted her skirt to touch her private part.

The victim screamed and Kamari fled down the staircase.
