Man apologises for stealing underwear

It was almost like he was shopping around in a department store.

A "hunky" man clad in a grey singlet casually browsing through a rack of clothes before picking out what he wanted.

Except that he was stealing his neighbour's underwear.

He was caught in the act when the victim, Sam, filmed the pilferer's movements on a CCTV camera. The footage was promptly sent to STOMP.

The CCTV was installed outside their Yishun flat after Sam's family found their women's clothing pulling a constant disappearing act since October last year.

Since the video footage came to light, the thief, who is currently serving his National Service, has apologised for his deeds.

He reportedly feels ashamed of his deeds and is repentant.
