Flat burgled while occupants attend wedding celebrations

A FLAT at Block 634, Chua Chu Kang North 6 was broken into on Saturday, while its occupants were involved in wedding celebrations at the void deck of the same block.

The owner, who is a housewife in her early 50s, last checked on her valuables stored in a bedroom wardrobe at 5pm. She locked the house before leaving.

An hour later, she came back to find the bedroom door forced open and one of the windows facing the common corridor also ajar.
