Zaim Junaidi Ibrahim said he was in the hall after attending a ceramah (sermon) when the teacher approached him and accused him of removing a chair from the hall.

He claimed the teacher then punched him in the face, causing his lips to bleed, and kicked him in the torso while warning him not to be ill-mannered.

Following the incident, Zaim called his father, Ibrahim Othman, who rushed to the school in Wakaf Tembusu.

Ibrahim said he lodged a report at the Gong Badak police station after meeting the principal, who promised to investigate the matter.
