Robbed of $47,000 in toilet

A BUSINESSMAN was robbed of more than $47,000 in cash and valuables at a hawker centre toilet at Woodlands Central Road on Monday afternoon.

The 48-year-old man was in the toilet at the centre when a man barged into his cubicle, pointed a knife at him and demanded for his valuables.

The businessman handed over a $20,000 watch and cash of $23,000 and RM10,000 (S$4,200).
