KUALA TERENGGANU, MALAYSIA: An 8-year-old girl was molested at school on Sunday afternoon as she waited for her mother to fetch her after religious classes.

Police said the little girl from Bukit Payong in Marang was waiting near the gate about 4.30pm, when a stranger in his 20s persuaded her to follow him into an empty classroom to watch film clips on his handphone.

He made her lie down on one of the desks and removed her skirt.

He fondled her private parts, showed her pornographic images on his phone and then left.

The girl told her mother what had happened when the mother picked her up at 5.30pm.
The mother lodged a police report at Chabang Tiga later the same day.
