KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - A Form One student who was persuaded to take ketamine by her boyfriend as it would be "an euphoric experience" was raped when she lost consciousness.

The incident allegedly took place on Aug 27 but the girl kept mum as she was afraid of her parents. The 13-year-old had met her boyfriend, in his 20s, when her parents were away. The girl had known the man for only a week before the incident took place.

"The victim, who lives in Kepong, sneaked out to meet the man who convinced her to follow him back to a condominium unit. There were two other men there," a source said.

All three men took turns taking ketamine before the boyfriend offered some to the girl. "The other two men, meanwhile, had fallen asleep."

The girl lodged a report at the Jinjang police station. A medical examination at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital confirmed she was raped.
