Ex-Cortina man guilty

LAST Christmas Day, Cortina Watch supervisor Jerry Ee returned to the Raffles City outlet and removed $7.7 million worth of property from the safe, a district court heard.

The 36-year-old had disarmed the outlet's security alarm and came with two luggage bags to stuff his stolen loot - 366 watches, five new cufflinks and $27,137.

He then returned to his Jalan Rumah Tinggi home with his loot in a pre-arranged rented limousine.
