Burglar nabbed in 12 hours

A HOUSEBREAKER was nabbed within just 12 hours - thanks to a crucial lead from a CCTV footage.

Police were informed that a restaurant within a shopping centre located at Harbourfront Walk had been broken into and coins amounting to more than $1,000 were stolen at about 10.30am on Monday.

Officers from Clementi Police Division conducted extensive enquiries in the vicinity of the restaurant and managed to identify a suspect from a CCTV footage.
