THE man on trial for the murder of his toddler daughter wants a medical expert to testify in his defence, his lawyer told the High Court on Friday.
To give counsel N. Kanagavijayan time to find one, the trial against Sallehan Allaudin, 27, was adjourned for four weeks. It was to have ended on Friday.
It is understood that the defence hopes to get a cardiologist or pathologist to give an opinion on the cause of Nikie's death.
