A SINGAPOREAN woman sustained light injuries after she held on to her handbag when two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch it.

She was on her way to her car at a parking lot of a hypermarket in Plentong when the incident happened.

She sustained injuries on her waist and legs after falling when they pulled her handbag. SAC I Jalaluddin said two suspects, aged 24 and 26, were picked up the next day after police raided a house in Taman Permas Jaya.

"We found a handbag in the home and we believe it may belong to another victim," he said.
