A 27-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested for drink driving on Thursday night after her car collided into a taxi along Springleaf Road.
The taxi was travelling along Upper Thomson Road in the direction of Yio Chu Kang Road when it was hit at about 11.48 pm. The cabby complained of neck pain and was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the woman driver after she failed the breathalyser test administered. An analyser test later showed that her breath contained 107 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres, significantly exceeding the legally prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.
