KUANTAN, MALAYSIA: When Mohd Amir Fikri Azahar saw a couple working with a hoe at a playground in Taman Sepakat on Sunday night, his curiosity got the better of him.

When the couple left, the 13-year-old went to the spot where they had been digging and was sickened to find a foetus in a shallow hole.

Amir and two friends were at the playground about 8.30pm when they saw a car approaching.

"A car stopped near the surau at the playground so I approached the car to see if they needed help.

"But the couple in the car ordered me to stay away."

Amir said the couple left 10 minutes later and he saw that the man was carrying a hoe.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Jasmani Yusoff said a post-mortem was carried out on the foetus at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital yesterday.
