A 44-year old mosaic layer, who is a last stage cancer patient, was sentenced to 10 years jail by the Shah Alam High Court for causing the death of his nephew.

Judicial commissioner Mohd Yazid Mustafa sentenced Fong Kim Yuen after he pleaded guilty to committing the offence.

Fong admitted to causing his 28-year old nephew's death at his home in Gombak last year.

During mitigation, he is said to have only five years to live. He has nose cancer.
