MARANG, MALAYSIA - A 25-year-old Immigration officer has lodged a police report here alleging abuse by her husband yesterday.

She claimed that her husband was jealous with the way she had socialised with her colleagues on Thursday.

In the 9am incident at their house in Kampung Bukit Sawa, here, the couple got into a heated argument when the officer's 24-year-old husband allegedly slapped her several times.

State Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Fauzi Abduri said the victim then lodged a report at the Bukit Payong police station before seeking treatment for bruises on her face at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital later.
