KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: A 45-year-old cleaner and his colleague had a shock when they found the body of a man, believed to have been a murder victim, floating in Sungai Keroh, Segambut, here.

The victim was naked and his legs and hands were tied with wire.

He was wrapped in cloth and was in a foetal position.

Ahmad Cenewar said he was cleaning a drain when he noticed a strong stench coming from the river.

"I went closer to the river bank and saw something floating. I immediately called out to my colleague who was nearby. We made out the shape of a body. We then contacted the police," he said.

Sentul Deputy OCPD Supt Zainuddin Ahmad said the body, which was partially decomposed, was believed to have been in the river for more than two days.
