>KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Before winning his Kepala Batas parliamentary seat tonight, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi congratulated winners of all seats and said that the BN accepted the results. "This is the way democracy works," he said. "I ask all parties to accept the results and to refrain from having street demonstrations."
Abdullah was speaking at the BN election centre at the Putra World Trade Centre here.
Abdullah comfortably defeated his Pas challenger Subri Arshad 23,445-12,199 when the results were announced at Kepala Batas.
