KULAIJAYA: The body of a hair salon owner was discovered by police at her house at Taman Bintang Utama here.

Kulaijaya OCPD Supt Zulkefly Yahya said the body of B. Saraswathy, 34, was discovered after her friend reported that she had not answered her phone calls.

A patrol car was dispatched to her house at 11.30pm on Monday and policemen found her body on a living room sofa in the locked house.

Initial investigations showed that there were no signs of a struggle, he said, adding that there were no visible injuries on her.
