NTUC Club enters Chinese nightclub scene

THE fight for business in nightclubs offering Chinese entertainment has intensified with the opening of another establishment. The new kid is called Scarlet City and is operated by NTUC Club.

Occupying the fourth level of AMK Hub, the 10,000 sq ft place hopes to carve out a niche with its fusion of Western cabaret and getai-style entertainment.

It is also hoping to gain momentum with affordable charges.

But its rivals Lunar and Dragonfly say they are not losing sleep over the appearance of another player.

Both of them say they have their own distinctive drawing power.
