'You tell them how you strangled me'
Thu, Nov 01, 2007
The Straits Times

Besides taking Madam Amutha Valli Krishnan through her affidavit in court on Thursday, her lawyer, Mr R.S Bajwa, also asked her to identify the defendants she had accused of subjecting her, against her will, to an exorcism and abusing her.

Looking visibly distressed, she shouted and wailed as she pointed her fingers at the two priests, Father Simon Tan and Father Jacob Ong.

She also screamed when she pointed to another defendant, Mr Nasrom Abdullah: "The botak man strangled me."

The three men did not react to her action.

Continuing her outburst against them, Madam Valli yelled: "You tell them, tell them how you strangled me...and you call yourself a church."

The other defendants were not present in court. - Jermyn Chow.
