TWO homes at Jalan Ulu Siglap were broken into on Wednesday.

The resident of one woke up at about 8am to discover a $2,000 laptop, $700 cash and a $600 handphone missing.

She also found a balcony door on the second floor ajar. Her neighbour also reported several items stolen from her home as well.

This included cash of $1,400, a watch and ring. The windows and sliding doors on the third floor of her place were also unlocked.

In yet another break-in, a driver found his $2,000 laptop missing from his car which was parked at an open carpark at Block 449 Clementi Avenue 3 on Tuesday at about 7.15pm.

When he returned 45 minutes later, he found his front left window smashed.

Besides the laptop, a $150 hard drive was also missing, among other items.
