Cyclist seriously injured in crash with lorry

A CYCLIST was seriously injured in a road accident in Geylang Bahru on Tuesday night.

A lorry was travelling in an open car park near Block 94, Geylang Bahru at 7.30pm when it crashed into the cyclist who was believed to have been riding his bicycle from the right to the left of the lorry.

The cyclist, a man in his mid 40s, was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. It is understood that he had a cut on the back of his head.
