A FULL-TIME national serviceman was charged in court on Wednesday with trespassing into a women's toilet and insulting the modesty of a woman.

Dexter Lim Qing Rui, 19, is said to have trespassed into the second-floor female toilet at PSA Vista, Harbour Drive, to cause annoyance to a woman on July 11 last year.

He is also accused of intruding into the victim's privacy by using his cellphone to take a video of her while she was inside a cubicle that day.

He is on bail of $5,000.

The case will be mentioned on Feb 19.
