First Asia Barista competition to be held at S'pore Expo

>27-YEAR-OLD John Ting showcased his latte art skills in a giant coffee cup as PR executive Carmen Chan watched on.

Mr Ting, who has worked for Spinelli Coffee Company since April 23 2003, will be representing Singapore in the first Asia Barista Competition.

The competition will be held at the Singapore Expo from April 22 to 24 to compete against other Barista professionals from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Phillipines, Taiwan and Thailand for the title of 'Asia Barista Champion'.
