Man punched 71-year-old

A MAN was charged in a magistrate's court on Tuesday with punching and kicking an elderly man.

Ngan Hook Sum, 30, is said to have punched Mr Tay Ah Huat, 71, on the face and kicked him on the left thigh at a carpark in Ang Mo Kio on Aug 10 last year.

His lawyer told the court that he would be making representations.
