A TUMULTUOUS year of lawsuits and allegations at the Singapore Swimming Club ended on Sunday with members showing their support for their current president.

Mr Freddie Koh Sin Chong retained his post by a substantial margin of 328 votes to 108 votes at Sunday's four-hour- long extraordinary general meeting.

The vote of confidence came despite him currently facing a defamation suit filed by four former management committee (MC) members.
