Ironman Alan Lim wins Aviva Award

LOCAL Ironman athlete Alan Lim, 36, won the inaugural Aviva Life Challenge Award last Friday for his achievement in overcoming salivary cancer to participate in the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore endurance race in March.

He won a sponsored trip by Aviva, to the Ironman World Championship in Clearwater, Florida, which will be held this Saturday.
