Free milk for 1,000 kids
Wed, Feb 17, 2010
The Straits Times

By Wendy Lim

ABOUT 1,000 children will receive free milk formula for up to six months to help them start on a healthy and nutritious diet.

The pilot 'Grow, Glow, Go' programme is a collaboration between the South-west CDC and Abbott Nutrition to supplement the nutritional needs of children from low income families in the south-west district.

The programme also aims to educate parents on the 'importance of nutrition during their children's early development years' and to encourage them to continue providing milk for their children daily.
