Girl slaughtered for refusing marriage

KARACHI - A frustrated lover slaughtered a teenage girl after she refused to marry him.

The incident occurred in slum areas of Dhoraji Colony in the remits of Bahadurabad police station on Sunday.

SHO Mohsin Haider said the victim - 14-year-old Zahida, daughter of Gamma - was alone in home, when neighbour Abdul Sattar entered there and slaughtered her when she refused to marry him and escaped from the scene.

Police moved her body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem and handed over his family after completing the legal formalities. No case was registered till filing the report.
