MALAYSIA: A 35-year-old woman was found dead in her wedding gown by her husband in their condominium unit in Setapak.

Kosmo! reported that the body of Thee Siew Chu was discovered at 2.35pm on Saturday, with her nose and mouth bleeding and bruises on her body.

Sentul deputy OCPD Supt Zainuddin Ahmad said Thee, who suffered from mental problems, had been alone because her computer technician husband was out working.

"When he came home, he suspected something amiss because despite him repeatedly calling out to her, his wife did not open the door," he said, adding that Thee's husband then broke open the door.

Supt Zainuddin said the windows and air vents in the condominium were closed and sealed with cellophane tape.

"There was a smell of incense in the house and charcoal was found in the kitchen wok," he said, adding that the police had ruled out murder because the bleeding and bruises on Thee's body could have been due to an overdose of medication.
