THE cost of damage caused to a torched mosque in Siglap has been amended to $4.5 million from the original $1 million.

The 14-year-old juvenile, who was charged two months ago with the alleged crime at Masjid Kampung Siglap, now faces an amended charge of mischief by fire by burning the Marine Parade Road mosque with a lighter at about 2.05pm on Oct 6.

He has also been charged with criminal trespass at Apex Harmony Lodge and fraudulent possession of another student's ez-link card on Oct 4.
