Hotline for miserable students

PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA - Kuala Lumpur Hospital has set up a special hotline - 03-26155782 - to let students vent their frustrations on their SPM or STPM results.

The hotline will be open from 8am to 5pm daily and will be operational until March 28.

The STPM and SPM results were released on Tuesday and yesterday respectively.

Education director-general Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom said: "Even if their results are not what the students expected, it is not the end of the world."

He urged students to look at other options such as re-sitting their examinations, applying for entry to community colleges or opting for vocational programmes.
