Expelled for scolding teacher

Allegedly sore at being maligned, a 15-year-old student had retaliated by using foul words and attempted violence against his discipline master.

His actions got him expelled from the school, according to a report by Shin Min Daily News.

The discipline master had accused him of being rude to students from a different school who were visiting to take part in a competition.

However, the boy claimed that no verbal abuse was hurled and that he just happened to be passing by the visiting students when he was accused of the misbehaviour.

The incident happened in late February this year.

The boy’s mother, Mrs Yu, added that he suffered from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and had to be on daily medication to bring his impulsive behaviour under control since his diagnosis.

However, the boy had not been on his regular medication the week of the incident.

He was allegedly prescribed other pills for another illness at that time. His mother, feeling uncomfortable with mixing medicines, had stopped the boy from taking his ADHD medication.
