Punish the teacher who was vulgar
Fri, Apr 18, 2008
my paper

I WAS shocked to read about the CCA teacher who used vulgarities to scold his ex-student who did not greet him properly (my paper, April 16).

He appeared to have reacted out of proportion to a seemingly small matter.

There is no excuse for his conduct as he should know that, as a teacher, he should set a good example for others, especially his students.

The Ministry of Education should look into the matter, get the teacher's side of the story, and take appropriate action if necessary.
