ACM WEEKEND VIET FESTIVAL

Go Vietnamese with your family. Your kids can participate in on-the-spot art competitions and traditional Vietnamese games while you catch performances, enjoy tasty treats and watch a Vietnamese lion dance performance on stilts.

SARONG STORIES

Joget over with your children and sign them up for this three-day workshop (right) where they can explore Peranakan collections at the Peranakan Museum's galleries using folktales and nursery rhymes. On the last day, families and friends will be treated to a mini presentation. Suitable for children aged seven to nine.

THE KID SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FULL-DAY WORKSHOP

Science and technology come alive for children at this full-day workshop where they can work in pairs on a mini project of their choice. It can be an innovative project, such as an electronic weighing machine, a walking robot or computer games. SCIENCE EXPLORER: MECHANICAL HORSE CONSTRUCTION & RACING

Your child can learn various elements of science and engineering through building a mechanical horse using a racing horse hobby kit with moving legs, gearbox and a DC motor that creates a galloping effect. Later he can run it on a racing track. For children aged eight to 15, this event is part of the People's Association Kiddies Science & Arts Workshops for the June school holidays.
