What's the whole point of overstressing these kids? It's just crazy. Making them forfeit their holidays and attend these classes is like some sort of punishment or detention. These kids deserve their holidays.

There are other things in life that we need students to see or experience - holidays should not revolve around curriculum and CCAs. School is not the be-all and end-all for them. Sometimes we baby students too much... we need to let kids BE KIDS. Let them fool around, climb a tree, fall, turn off the Internet, let them get creative. Many life lessons can be learnt outside school.

I remember hating holidays because that meant having to do so much homework that it's better to have normal classes during the so-called school holidays.
