More tie-ups with Thai schools

More schools here will tie up with their Thai counterparts for teacher exchanges, camps and scholarships - five new schools have been added to the existing 10.

Schools in both countries will also work closer in sharing ideas about incorporating technology into teaching, and teaching methods for some subjects.

Those were among the areas discussed by Singapore's Education Minister Ng Eng Hen and his Thai counterpart Somchai Wongsawat yesterday.

During his two-day visit, Mr Somchai also toured the National Institute of Education, the Institute of Technical Education College East and Jurong Secondary School.
