Quality of education not tied to school's ranking

'My son is a Secondary 4 student currently sitting for his O-level exams in Serangoon Secondary School. I thank the principal, Mr Yeo Kuerk Heng, the vice-principal Mr Richard Phua and the teachers for their hard work and dedication in preparing the students. I appreciate the time and effort they put in by holding extra remedial classes and for encouraging and motivating the students. While Serangoon Secondary may not be a 'Band One' school, it has provided a 'Band One' education for the students.'

'Wendy, our heartfelt thanks.'

Madam Wong Li Ming
