In 2005, a primary school teacher caused an online furore after she posted pictures of herself holding several sex toys. Her blog also contained explicit accounts of her sex life. The blog also had pictures of her taken on a zoo excursion with her students.

COMING OUT

Last year, a teacher who used to teach at Raffles Institution, caused an uproar after he declared on his blog that he was gay. He has since left the teaching profession and is pursuing his passion of being a cartoonist.

MOCKED STUDENTS

In February, a relief teacher at a primary school here was sacked for mocking his students' English compositions in one of his blog entries. The school involved said he had breached the school's confidentiality guidelines.
