How much can you earn when you start your own food business?
Haresh's starting pay (see story below) when he was with MPH Limited - The Book Cafe was $3,000. But he said the relatively high salary was unusual - and a vote of confidence in his ability to recreate the menu to make it more interesting.

As a business owner, Haresh initially drew a salary of about $3,000, which mostly went to bills. He and his brother invested $120,000 to start up the business. Practically all of the revenue went back into the restaurants. At one point, he had so little money that his car was repossessed.

Today, after five years of hard work, he is able to earn double the $3,000 he drew initially.
