FORTY-FIVE elderly people will be graduating from an IT programme organised by the South West Community Development Council (CDC) this Friday.

One of them is a 77-year-old Tan Tiong Cheng who learnt to keep in touch with his son and grandchildren through the internet.

They had participated in Elderly @ IT! Boot Camp, which is the CDC's initiative to help the elderly pick up IT skills to network and keep in touch with peers, stimulate mental wellness, encourage active ageing and promote inter-generational bonding.
