TO DATE, Singapore has nearly 70 cases of Influenza A (H1N1).
While I am certain the Government is doing its best to contain the spread islandwide, it may be advisable to extend the current school vacation by a week or two so that more people, especially children, are not infected.
I am given to understand that such a move may also help efforts to break the chain of infection.
Furthermore, it takes time for the infection to show and children returning from holidays may show the symptoms only after they return to school, which opens slightly more than a week from now.
