Most top PSLE students stay in HDB flats

A majority of top students based on PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) results stay in HDB flats.

This was stated in a written Parliamentary reply to MP for Marine Parade GRC Mr Seah Kian Peng on what proportion of students in top ten secondary schools in Singapore live in HDB flats.

Of the top 10 per cent of PSLE students, more than 60 per cent live in HDB flats.

Among the Secondary 1 students who enrolled in Integrated Programme (IP) schools in 2009, more than half live in HDB flats.
