NTU, University of Warwick to collaborate in neuroscience research

TWO universities - Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the University of Warwick - signed an agreement this morning to set up a collaborative programme in neuroscience research.

This agreement will see an acceleration in the development of neuroscience research at both universities. It will also assist in promoting joint ventures and provide access to mutual resources.

Signed by NTU Provost, Prof Bertil Andersson and the Registrar of the University of Warwick, Mr Jon Baldwin, the agreement will also establish links to other neuroscience research programmes based at Biopolis.

University of Warwick's Vice-Chancellor Prof Nigel Thrift said that "neuroscience is one of science's most challenging problems". He also expressed confidence that the "partnership will produce significant advances in this field".
