PSLE fuss: Where's the creativity?

THE recent brouhaha by parents over the difficulty of the Primary School Leaving Examination mathematics paper shows a lack of support for creativity.

Do we want an education system based on rote learning or one which can produce bright young people who can think outside the box? The Ministry of Education should make its stand on the matter known.
