MPH Bookstores

What's going on: MPH marked its 100th anniversary in 2006 by opening its new 6,500 sq ft main store at Raffles City Shopping Centre.

This store boasts popular fiction and non-fiction titles. It also specialises in children's fiction and has a graphic-novel section with English-language comics and manga.

While it had to close some of its stores in the past, MPH will be making a comeback in three to eight months.

It is planning to open new stores, including one in Orchard Road.

It aims to target working executives, families and
children, and youth.
